You don’t need to register for anything in advance in order to use SMS Park. It is as simple to use as pressing a button in our app or sending a text message when arriving at the parking spot. Brilliant, don’t you think?

All payments are made subsequently through invoice or debit card. SMS Park is for everyone regardless your choice of phone or subscription.
SMS Park offer apps for iOS, Android and Windows but the service works just as well if you decide to use the text message service.

It’s simple

You don’t need to register for anything in advance, and you can start using the service the minute you need to. You start and stop your parking as you wish and because of this you will only be charged for your actual parking time.

SMS Park is a payment service destined to make everyday parking easier and over 1 500 000 Swedes have chosen to use our services when parking. We are Inteleon AB and we are the providers of SMS Park. The company was founded in 2009.

The Service

Parking through app

Our app is available for iPhone, Android and Windows. Using our app makes it quick and easy to start and to cancel your parking. Worried about forgetting to cancel? When using the app, you set a preliminary stopping time which can be prolonged whenever needed. You may also use the app to get an overview of your previous parkings, look for parkings nearby and change your payment method.

Parking through SMS

In order to park through SMS, all you need to do is send a text message containing zone code, license plate number, personal identity number (zonkod registreringsnummer personnummer) to 0700 - 40 40 40. The zone code is a number visible on all of our signs and stickers and identifies each parking spot. Immediately after this, you will receive a text message confirming that your parking has started. Please note that you do not have a valid parking unless you have received a confirmation saying so. When you are ready to leave the parking you simply send a new text message saying AVSLUTA (end in Swedish). Once again you will receive a confirmation which, amongst other things, contains information about the total cost. To make sure that you don’t forget to cancel your parking, we will send you text messages regularly.

Monthly Payment

All purchases made during one calendar month will be collected and invoiced during the beginning of the following month. We offer several different payment methods. Unless an active choice is made, a paper invoice will be sent by mail to your registered address. The paper invoice comes with a billing fee of 25 SEK. You can chose your payment method in ”mina sidor” (my pages in Swedish).

Invoice or card payment

You may receive your invoice on paper, through SMS, or e-mail. Would you prefer not to pay through invoice, you are welcome to register your debit card. Your registered Visa or MasterCard will be charged monthly for your parkings made previous month.

Fees

SMS Park always keep the same rates as the parking meter. In addition to this, in some areas, there may be an added service fee. In case of service fees, these are always displayed on our signs at the parking lots. The service fee can vary between 0,09 - 5 SEK.

SMS Park can be used in over 220 Swedish towns

SMS Park can be used for parking at parking spots where our signs or stickers are on display. Depending on who we are collaborating with, these may be shaped differently. You will find our logo on all of our signs and you can use the app to see what parking spots are connected to our service.

How will the parking attendant know that I have used SMS Park?

The parking attendant controls your payment through SMS Park by using a palm computer connected to our system. Because of this, it’s important that the right license plate number and zone code are stated when starting your parking.

Business Service

SMS Park may be used by both individuals and businesses. The service is easy to combine if you park both privately and when on duty. This is easily managed through our app.

Collected Invoice

By using SMS Park, your company will receive a collected invoice the month after the service has been used. This invoice contains all purchases made by your employees. No more receipts or private expenses. This will decrease the administrative load for your accounts department. You are free to choose between receiving your invoices by mail or e-mail.

Save Money

As a business user of SMS Park, you will actually save money since you’re only paying for the actual parking time. Your employees will also get the chance to make their errands freely without worrying about their prepaid parking to end.

Fees for SMS Park’s Business Service

Entry fee: 0 SEK per user
Administration fee: 49 SEK per active user*
Paper invoice: 25 SEK
E-mail invoice: 0 SEK

* The administration fee is monthly and is only charged per active users during one calendar month.

This is how it works

You may choose between connecting your license plate numbers or phone numbers to the account. We will send you information to hand out to your employees about downloading and using the SMS Park app. All parkings started from a connected phone number or with a connected car will be charged to the company.

How to go about it

Once your employees are connected, they can start using the service. The service is combinable with private parking since this can be done using the same unit.

Business Parking

Using our app makes it quick and easy to start and cancel your parking. Worried about forgetting to cancel your parking? When using the app, you set a preliminary stopping time which can be prolonged whenever needed. The app also allow you to search for parkings nearby. Make sure to click the Företagskonto (business account in Swedish) before starting your parking. You may also start your parking through SMS. Simply send a text message containing zone code, license plate number (zonkod registreringsnummer) to 0700 - 40 40 40. The zone code a number is visible on all of our signs and stickers and identifies each parking spot. To cancel your parking, send AVSLUTA to the same number.

General questions

How do I obtain a new password for the app or website?

To get a new password, send a text message with NYTT followed by your personal identity number to 0700 - 40 40 40.
Example: NYTT YYMMDDXXXX

Where can I find my invoice?

Log on to our website and find your invoices and parking receipts. Keep in mind that your invoice won’t appear on the website until the beginning of next month.

How do I change my payment method?

Log on to our website to chose your payment method. When canceling your first parking, you received a password to use for the website.

Why won’t you just charge me through my phone bill?

For us to be able to do so, you would need to install separate software in order to use our service. In addition to this, you would need to use a phone with a contract. We don’t want things to be this complicated. It’s important for us that our service is easy to use, without the need for pre registrations.

About the service

Can I park someone else’s car?

Our invoices are always issued to your personal identity number. This means that it does not matter what car you’re driving at the moment. You specify the license plate number when starting your parking.

Can I park more than one vehicle simultaneously?

You most certainly can! Keep in mind that you’ll need to specify what parking you are cancelling. You do so by writing AVSLUTA followed by the license plate number.
Ex: AVSLUTA ABC123

I’ve bought a monthly parking ticket through SMS Park. Can I use this for more than one car?

No problem! Our app allows you to change the license plate number in an ongoing longterm parking. This can be done two times every four hours. Please contact our customer service for help if needed.

Can I make private parkings using my service phone?

Well of course you can!
SMS Park will never charge you through your phone bill. Our invoices are always issued to your personal identity number.

Payment

When will I receive my invoice?

A collected invoice containing all parkings made during one calendar month will be sent to you in the beginning of the following month. Because of this, you won’t need to receive an invoice after each parking. Awesome!
Ex: All parkings made in January will be billed in the beginning of February.

Information about the billing fee is to be found on all of our signs and stickers. When cancelling your first parking, you receive information on how to change your payment method.

How do I pay?
